ESA/ESOC is providing a free-of-charge service by which solar and geomagnetic
activity data can be acquired via HTTPS.

Short-term predictions for the next solar rotation period (+27 days
ahead), and daily activity data for the previous solar rotation period
(-27 days observation history) are contained in the file "short_term.dat"
(including +/- 95%-ile prediction uncertainties). The "fap_day.dat" file
contains the daily data since 1957 and until +27 days ahead.
A related PostScript plot for 1 solar cycle in the past (11y) is provided
in the file "fap_daily_1cyc.eps", or in PDF format as "fap_daily_1cyc.pdf",
or in JPEG format as  "fap_daily_1cyc.jpg"). Another related PostScript
plot for 5 solar cycle in the past (55y) is provided in the file
"fap_daily_5cyc.eps", or in PDF format as " "fap_daily_5cyc.pdf",
or in JPEG format as  "fap_daily_5cyc.jpg").
The daily activity data and the short-term predictions are updated
every day at 04:45 UTC.

Long-term predictions for the next two solar cycles (2 x 11 years) in
terms of centered 13-months moving averages are listed in the file
"long_term.dat" (including 1-sigma uncertainties).An extended version,
from 1957 until 100 years in the future, is provided in "fap_mon.dat
The related Post-Script plot is provided in the file "fap_monthly_1+2cyc.eps",
or in PDF format as "fap_monthly_1+2cyc.pdf", or in JPEG format as
"fap_monthly_1+2cyc.jpg".
Another related Post-Script plot  with predictions until the year 2100 is
 provided in the file "fap_monthly_1+9cyc.eps", or in PDF format as
"fap_monthly_1+9cyc.pdf" or in JPEG  format as"fap_monthly_1+9cyc.jpg".
A third related Post-Script plot  with the history of the past 5 cycles is
 provided in the file "fap_monthly_5+0cyc.eps", or in PDF format as
"fap_monthly_5+0cyc.pdf", or in JPEG format as"fap_monthly_5+0cyc.jpg".
The monthly activity predictions are updated on the 4th day of each month,
at 04:45 UTC.

The use of the activity data files is free of charge.

Users should accept that this data supply service is of a non-operational
nature, with no liability on ESA's side for the timely update, and/or
for the accuracy of the data contained in the above mentioned files.
